Pictumira was born from a simple idea: painting by numbers brings joy – and we wanted to make that feeling accessible to as many people as possible.

How it all began

It all started with a brush, a bit of paint, and a quiet evening. What began as a small hobby quickly became a cherished escape from everyday life: filling in field by field, clearing your head, and at the end, holding a picture you created yourself. This feeling stayed with us – and from that, Pictumira was born.

Our Mission

We believe that anyone can paint – even without prior knowledge or artistic talent. That's why we develop paint-by-number sets that make it as easy as possible to start painting: pre-selected colors, high-quality canvases, and clear instructions that guide you through the picture step by step.

Our photo upload is particularly close to our hearts: a personal photo – a beloved pet, a holiday moment, a family portrait – is transformed into your very own paint-by-number motif. This way, a memory becomes a work of art that you painted yourself.

Who is behind Pictumira

Pictumira is run by me, Björn Buresch, from Munich. As a sole proprietor, I personally take care of every part of the shop – from selecting motifs to customer service.
